I’ve always wondered how someone is meant to be able to define themselves in an ‘about me’ section. How can you possibly justify who you are in just a few sentences in a space so small? You know that’s the biggest problem with our generation. We’re obsessed with defining things. We want answers now. We want to know what this is and what that is right away. We want to put labels on things, that sometimes don’t really need them. Why do we constantly have to justify ourselves? If you like something, or someone, if you want to go somewhere, do something or be something, why does it require justification? Why can’t we just respond with, ‘because I just do,’? I think people need to learn from each other, know that maybe it’s about doing things as they happen in particular moments, because really things that matter so much right now, may or may not be the same thirty or fifty years from now. I think if you realize that you will always be exactly where your supposed to be, and then life won’t seem so daunting. People are so quick to judge each other, she’s like this, he thinks that way, they’re one of those. Sometimes it’s not always the case. Sometimes people are more vulnerable then they let on. Be kind to people, even if they aren’t so kind to you, at least you know that you protect hearts, not break them.
Next time you’re sitting in the front seat of your car, stop a minute. Imagine the glass windshield as the universe. Now pay special attention to that small speak glistening in the sunlight. You see that? That’s earth. That’s where we live. See how small it is in comparison to what else is out there? Chances are what you’re thinking and what you’re feeling right now, someone else is as well. So perhaps we’re suppose to do what we want and fix our mistakes along the way. Maybe if we lived each day as though it was our last, those mistakes we make, wont seem so bad. Precautions, indecisions, taking a lifetime to make a choice that could easily be made in the spare of a moment are all just excuses for hoping that you’ll find a better life. What’s wrong with the one you have now? Make the life you have now amazing.
